Literacy Intervention & Focused Therapy
Helpful links for families navigating literacy challenges — from financial assistance to understanding dyslexia and getting started with therapy.
The Lindsay Nicole Henry (LNH) Scholarship provides funding for Oklahoma students with disabilities to attend participating private schools. If your child has a qualifying disability — including dyslexia or dysgraphia — this scholarship may help cover the cost of specialized literacy therapy and private school tuition.
Did you know you may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for dyslexia therapy in Oklahoma? The IRS recognizes dyslexia as a medical condition, which means structured literacy therapy provided by a qualified therapist — like a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) — may qualify as a medical expense. We recommend confirming with your HSA administrator, but for many families this is a meaningful way to offset the cost of intervention.
We're happy to help you figure out the best next step for your child.
